Violence Against Women and State Crime Addressed in Recent Book by Collins

State Crime, Women and Gender, a recently published book by assistant professor Dr. Victoria Collins in the EKU School of Justice Studies is a welcome contribution to the discussion of gender and the criminal justice system.

Collins examines women’s roles as both victims and perpetrators of violence against women using case studies from across the globe. Prior to the book, Collins’ work was published in Critical Criminology, International Criminal law Review, Contemporary Justice Review and other esteemed journals.
