EKU Online Students Earn Justice & Safety Degrees

 
 
Eastern Kentucky University awarded 153 degrees and certificates to 2016 EKU Online graduates in the College of Justice & Safety. Commencement exercises took place on Saturday, May 14.
 
 
The College of Justice & Safety offers EKU Online degree programs in corrections and juvenile justice studies, justice policy and leadership, emergency medical care, fire protection, homeland security and safety management. Online education began at Eastern Kentucky University in 2006 with one class of six students. Today, there are more than 3,000 online students. In Spring 2016, EKU Online graduates were awarded 504 degrees and certificates: 14 associates; 224 bachelor’s; 204 master’s; 10 doctorate; and 52 specialist and certificate designations.
