Color of Justice Event Explores Justice and Safety Careers

Representatives from Eastern Kentucky University, the Kentucky Department of Housing and Louisville Metro Police Department were among those who met with Louisville Central High School students in December to discuss the rewards and challenges of justice and safety careers.

The discussion was part of "Color of Justice," an event to engage minorities in thinking about jobs in criminal justice, policing, fire science and related fields.

EKU alumni were also on the panel, which discussed career options such as emergency medical care, law enforcement, criminal justice, corrections, occupational safety, secirity and fire protection. Read more.
